XD; It's been awhile since I did a soft-shaded picture, so I practiced a bit with this one. The background is... Heavily-filtered scribbles of trees. XD I can't do backgrounds, sorreh. I hope it's not too dark. The color settings on this computer is slightly off. Wee.  That shading is fun to you AND it looks great? Thats pretty excellent actually. Might prove to be one you do much more. You do the best job at making simple backgrounds look fitting without any problems! Its nice. Fits it all nicely in one neat package.  Everything look great on my monitor. I agree with Busiris, the focal point is the character not the background, and the way it looks plus the blur really gives a sense of speed.
It looks like it will hurt when those arms make contact with his... pelvic area though... -- Rex out... Not sure I've seen much of your soft shading work, it looks good! I'm not confident enough yet to attempt a large scale picture in that style of shading. -- My other signature is epic.  Yeah, the blur works well, and more linear blurs on the background could enhance that. The muscles look great, and if I saw this, I'd be running in the opposite direction!
