THE COMMENT TYPE IS SET TO "DISCOURAGE CRITICISM" BECAUSE OF THE SHIT THAT HAPPENED WHILE WORKING ON THIS. SEE BELOW.

Right now this is the actual size I worked at during the final stages of the image. Before that, I was working on it at about three times this size. Some time while working on it, I resized it because I wanted to see if some detail would still be visible at a small size. I forgot to undo the resize and then continued on until it was almost done. Then I went to go fix the hands when I noticed the awfully small file size in the status bar. That's when everything turned to crap. Image almost done, but I I tried to undo to go back to its original size I would lose about 25% of the work I did. I lost all my motivation all of a sudden and I just wanted to get the stupid thing done. I quickly redid each hand about three to four times until I said "Fuck it." and added in the daggers. The background was supposed to be a graveyard, but I was too upset to do anything else productive so I just grabbed the moon from this picture and slapped it onto the background.

He was supposed to be twirling his daggers, but I gave up on that when I realised the big mistake I made. He's also not supposed to be blending into the background there (in Photoshop you can actually see his entire outline), so I guess it's just all the .JPG goodness. The dagger in his right hand looks and is super-imposed (duplicated from the dagger on the left hand), but I didn't feel like making a whole new dagger. The text at the bottom is giving me deja vu, but I don't know where I've seen it before...

Please do not complain if it is too dark for you. Your monitor just sucks. I actually toned down the brightness on my monitor to work on this, because I have had people complain about the darkness of my pictures in the past.

There's only a handful of Nightside fanart if you try using the search bar (and it's even rather difficult to find them because although a lot of pictures show up in your search, there are only a few that are actually relevent to the series), which is why I don't mind posting this here. Dead Boy is a character from Simon R. Green's Nightside series. He's my second favorite character from the books. He's dead, though I don't know if it would make him a zombie or not, because he doesn't decay, just gets a lot of damage from the stuff he does. I purposely made the moon very big here as a reference to the books. In the Nightside it's always night time and the moon is bigger and brighter than what we're used to.

I will probably do Suzie next and pray that nothing bad happens this time.

Again, critiques are discouraged because of all the complications.
