Laptop!

Laptop/PC n00b needing advice!

My parents are getting me a new laptop later this summer for when I start working and I need some suggestions for a good model. Right now I'm looking at [link] because it's pretty cheap compared to my last laptop ($2000+ x_x). Unfortunately, I don't know what all those numbers in the specs mean.

Could someone give me the lowdown on what those things mean and what's a good number, etc.? I'm looking for something that's decent for graphic design, as well as digital illustration. Also, if anyone knows of any good XP deals, let me know, because I have heard bad things about Vista, especially Adobe CS3 not functioning properly on it. Feel free to recommend other models, too.

The only thing I don't want is an Apple laptop. Not that I have anything against Apple (I would like to own a Mac one day, actually), it's just that most of my software is PC compatible only.

MySpace

Hey guys. I've opened up a MySpace account for business networking and right now it's pissing me off because it won't let me customize my profile.

I'm trying to edit the CSS manually, but whenever I enter a hex code like #000000 (black), it comes out as #000000 and then the profile can't read it. I know this may have to do with MySpace's technique for preventing malicious codes from being posted, but blocking hex color codes is ridiculous.

Could someone who uses and customizes MySpace regularly please help me bypass this without my having to resort to literal colors? Thanks.

edit: I don't need a profile generator or anything, I'd rather do things manually. I just want to find a way to fix the color code problem.
